Selwe is seen as a cub, eagerly taking the Fyre Stones from his father after learning the tale behind them. He is later seen as an adult, exasperated and trying to teach his own impatient and careless child their importance, to no avail. He dies from unknown causes, pushing the stones in Fanus' paws before taking his leave of the world.
