Nikrti's personality isn't all that explored, however she does value her reputation and keeps her word. However, when things aren't looking well for her, she doesn't hesitate to turn her back on others and get her and her crew to safety.

In The Forges of Dawn[]
Nikrti is a Tahra, and one Modak pays to get them safely away from Yu Song's Pirates. She isn't as agreeable when she spots Tarute, however, but when Modak threatens to blacken her name she has a change of heart and tensely sails the crew to the land of the Barbari Lyons. She is not seen again in the story.
