In The Land of the Marozi[]
He falls ill with a contagious and seemingly incurable disease which weakens him and kills much of his court, prompting one opportunistic sorcerer with ambiguous loyalties to try and seize power. He, however, is stopped by the loyal magician Lazimisha. The King dies as they feud, using powerful magics on each other.
This all leads to the creation of The Black Mountains.
